The shower in the Standard Double Room had great water pressure. I appreciated that there was tea and coffee in the room. The bar area provided comfortable seating after a long day, the area felt cozy.
I noticed only one minor issue. The gym equipment seemed a little dated.

themed mugsgood meal
My room had lovely Cumbrian themed tea and coffee mugs. I thought that was a nice touch. Breakfast and the evening meal were quite good. The pool was a nice amenity too. I enjoyed it.
The decor seemed dated and blue with yellow, not my style. I found some mould around the window frames. It was not extensive though.
